History

In 1932 in Permanento started as a trader in Amsterdam

Permanento started in Amsterdam in 1940 as a trading company in stationery and office supplies.

1962 was the year that Permanento was appointed 3M 'preferred Dealer'

In 1972 Permanento changes from a listed company to Permanento limited company.

After the merger with ATS in 1987, Permanento started to focus more on 3M industrial tapes (Scotch). 

In 1990 Permanento started with an extra service. Custom die-cutting and slitting was a demand of the market where Permanento stepped in. The production of self-adhesive die cuts and custom-slitted rolls of tape has since than expanded enormously.

1999 was the year that Permanento Hong Kong opened. The following year, 2000, Permanento won the Cathay Pacific China Trader Award.

In 2001 Norton Fluorplast Raamsdonksveer was taken over by Permanento.

In 2004 Permanento moved all activities to Raamsdonksveer.

Permanento Electronics Technologies was founded in 2005.

In 2006 Permanento was appointed "Small-Medium Enterprise of the Year" in Hong Kong.

In 2015, all European production was moved from Asia to Raamsdonksveer.

2016 was the year that the CleanRoom production started at Permanento.

In 2018, Permanento purchased a new location in Raamsdonksveer. All production and the office moved to the new location.

In 2020 Permanento started producing according to ISO 13485.
